Nice and knowledgeable staff. Concerned for you safety. Yet willing to let you enjoy your trip independently. A shop on site to purchase some items you may have forgotten or need. Equipment rented was in good condition. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Loads of fun! All of the staff were very accommodating, friendly and made for an awesome time. We had 18 people in a group, 3 separate boats. The occasion was to celebrate a wedding so we were all friends, plus another family in a fourth boat. The guides were educational on the rapids and local areas when we had questions, were able to read the group and our skill/athletic levels across the different boats (choosing what obstacles to play on/attempt), and put up with our shenanigans as we had fun with our friends on other boats. I, personally, can only speak for our guide, Liz, who was bubbly, friendly and a blast to be guided by. Thank you, Liz! (TEAM RAMRAFT!)

I loved it here! Employees are friendly and helpful. We took the relaxing tube trip down the river. It was wonderful. The campground is along the Cheat River. It had a nice bathhouse. Very clean and tidy place. I will definitely go back as soon as possible!
Blackwater Outdoor Adventures gave my family a super rafting experience. All safety measures were explained and followed. Equipment was clean as was facility, they even have showers to jump in after a day on the river. Our guide, was friendly, experienced and concerned that we have a good time. The scenery was beautiful and the rapids were just right for our group. I will highly recommend their services to friends who visit the Cheat river area.
